Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

The writer of Ecclesiastes, reflecting on life and its meaninglessness without God, talks about the different seasons in life. He says, 'There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven...a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain...' (Ecc 3:3-5). Without doubt we are in a new and very different season.

Fortunately, we are able to meet and worship in the Church building, however, we are continuing to stream our services online via our Facebook page. We are continuing to monitor government guidelines and encourage you to join us in a manner you feel comfortable, in person or virtually.

In addition, we are continuing to keep in touch with our Church family virtually. We are staying in contact by:

  1. A new and updated address book has been put together. The purpose behind this is to encourage one another to keep in touch and to ensure that everyone is cared for.
To help keep us up to date please can you fill in the contact form here.

  2. We have created a 'WhatsApp' messaging group. Again it is another and really excellent way to keep in touch, send encouraging texts, bible verses, and engage in a bit of online chat.
To be added to this group please fill in the contact form here and state that you would like to be added in the 'Comments' box.

The purpose of all this is that we stay connected. Lest we forget, church is not a building, it is people (us), those of all ages, all ethnic backgrounds, the have's and the have-nots, sinner and saint alike. It is doing church in a way that is very much 'outside the box' BUT that I think could actually serve to strengthen our bonds and build new links into our communities.

We appreciate that this is a big change and involves technology so if you need any help setting up or have any questions please contact us.
